Employment Opportunities

Qualification must include: CPR, First Aid, California Boating Safety Certificate and Life Guard Training. Specialty Instructors also need: Class B Drivers Licenses, AWSA Instructors Certification, US Rowing Instructor Water Ski Trained Drivers certification, US Sailing Instructor, For Hire License for Boat Operators California Boating Safety Certificate to join our staff, you must have completed or be enrolled your first year of college (Sacramento State Students have priority). Summer Season runs May 30th through August 26th. Student Positions

Front Office Assistants
Greet and assist customers, answer/direct phone calls, class/camp registrations, boat rentals, data entry, lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs., open/close center.

Dock Master/Outdoor Customer Service Representatives
Greet and assist customers with boating equipment, lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs., grounds maintenance, set-up for group reservations, open/close center.

Facility Maintenance Assistants
Outdoor/facility maintenance (painting, building, welding, fiberglass work, etc), lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs., set-up for group reservations, open/close center.

Boating Safety Instructors
Includes all youth camp instructors and all adult classes depending on skill area and applicants teaching ability: Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, wakeboarding, or rowing classes.

Sailing Instructor/Coordinator
Teach leisure classes, private lessons, youth groups, and administrative duties: scheduling, and boat maintenance, staff training.

Program Assistants (For Aquatic Center Director and Operations Manager)
Clerical work, scheduling, phone, must have strong organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications vary with each position. CPR, First Aid training, Lifeguard Training, and Class B Driver's License is helpful but not required.

SCHEDULING:

All positions are part time. Hours fluctuate with the season and are flexible with school schedules.
