Clayton Eckstein
Water Front Supervisor
Clayton was born in Tahoe and grew up in Folsom, always active, and playing all sports to be outside as much as possible. He spent summers here at Lake Natoma in summer camps, driving his god parents boats in South Lake Tahoe, camping in Santa Cruz and enjoying the pool in his backyard. He really loves being in and around water.
Clayton attended the University of California at Santa Cruz where he received his undergraduate degree in Economics and got a minor in Education. Later he returned to school at the University of Phoenix to get his Masters in Accounting. He loves learning new skills and obtaining more knowledge.
Clayton has come to the Sacramento State Aquatic Center after years of variety in his career path. He has done everything from grant management and accounting for nonprofits to umpiring/refereeing, youth, and adult sports. He has also done many odd jobs like Lyfy/Uber, poker/blackjack dealer and pit boss at a casino and being Santa at winter wonderland.
Clayton is an avid disc golfer who travels to play wherever he can, he and his wife love to go paddle boarding whenever and wherever possible as well.
