Brian Dulgar
Director
A graduate of Sacramento State with a B.A. in Business Marketing, Brian has been a part of the Aquatic Center for over 20 years. With his passion in aquatic and boating activities, he helped build the popular wakeboard/water ski programs available at the Aquatic Center today.
Cindi Dulgar
Associate Director
Cindi is a graduate of Sacramento State with a B.S. in Recreation Administration and completed her Master’s at Sacramento State in 2005. Cindi helped to jump start the water ski program, summer camp and special events to full scale in 1984.
Heather Wilhelmi
Operations Manager
Heather attended California State University, Chico where she was a Recreation Administration major. Heather’s love of Aquatics started at an early age as she has been a competitive water skier since age of eight. At 17 she was ranked 16th in the world for the slalom event.
DeDe Birch
Rowing Manager
DeDe is a graduate of Cal State East Bay with a master’s in Kinesiology specializing in Skill Acquisition and Sports Sociology. DeDe begin rowing in high school for Skyline in Oakland and then became a member of the Lake Merritt Rowing Club.
Ross Garner
Water Front Supervisor
Ross is a graduate of Sacramento State with a B.S. in Business Administration and is one of five people in the world with a Master’s degree in Leadership from the National Outdoor Leadership School.
Kyle Kiaski
Facilities Technician & Boating Safety Instructor
Kyle graduated from Sacramento State with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. As a student he was introduced to the Aquatic Center through the Sacramento State Wakeboard Team in 2006, by 2008 Kyle had joined the Aquatic Center as a wakeboard/waterski instructor.
Samantha Walker
Youth Programs Supervisor
Samantha graduated from Sacramento State cum laud with a B.A. in Mathematics and is currently teaching during the school year. Upon moving to the Sacramento area, Samantha joined the Sac State Women’s Rowing team fall 2015 and fell in love with rowing and the Aquatic Center
Chris Leonard
Capital Crew Varsity Men Head Coach
Chris began his rowing career as a coxswain for Iona Preparatory School in New York in 2006. He went on to continue his coxing at Marist College spending four years on the varsity 8. During his summers Chris coxed for Penn AC, Vesper and the United States Under 23 Team.
Sarah Puddicombe
Capital Crew Varsity Women Head Coach
A three-time All-American and Division II NCAA champion, Sarah Puddicombe returns home as Head Coach of the Varsity Women’s squad of Capital Crew. Sarah comes back to the Aquatic center after serving as the Associate Head Coach of the Cal Women’s rowing team at the University of California.
